We are seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, and design and implement behavior support plans for those people receiving services in agency Residential, Habilitation and/or Respite programs. The Behavior Intervention Specialist measures outcomes of plans and revises them as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness. A successful Behavior Intervention Specialist will model and promote Person Centered Planning and identify individual needs and administer clinical tools to meet professional standards. The Behavior Intervention Specialist works in a full time, exempt position. Although the work location is an office based site, it is expected that the Behavior Intervention Specialist will visit any Agency residential and program sites when necessary which are located throughout Erie County.
