The Chemical Dependency Counselor - Provisional QHP provides diagnostic assessments, evaluations, interventions, referrals and alcoholism and/or substance abuse counseling in both individual and group settings with a goal to establish and maintain recovery and relapse prevention. The Crisis Response Counselor provides crisis intervention, emergency evaluations, interventions, practical assistance, suicide prevention, safety planning, information and referral, brief supportive counseling through a dedicated clinic crisis phone. Must possess strong knowledge of risk assessment, mental health, substance use disorder, and corresponding systems of care to provide effective therapeutic crisis intervention. _*This position for the first few weeks will be Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (Training) then it will be Monday-Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm.
